A lower unit price does not make every extra SKU a useful purchase. For a distributor, the Black Friday question is not simply “How much can I save?” It is “Which stock can I sell, support and reorder with confidence?”
Build a mixed-model carbon fiber order by separating confirmed customer demand, proven repeat lines and small new-product tests. Ask CCF which combinations, per-line quantities and promotional terms can be quoted. Do not assume that a combined order automatically removes individual MOQ requirements.
A disciplined trial order can tell you more than a large speculative assortment. Define what you want to learn before asking for the price.

Use three groups in your inquiry
| Group | Evidence to use | Buying objective |
|---|---|---|
| Named customer jobs | Vehicle details and approved product reference | Fulfill a specific sale |
| Proven repeat lines | Your sales, stock and returns records for the same version | Replenish demonstrated demand |
| New-product tests | A defined sales channel and test budget | Learn whether the exact version sells |
Set a maximum exposure for the test group before negotiating. If you do not know which customers or channel will see a product, a promotion is not a substitute for that plan.
The reorder planning worksheet is useful for repeat lines. Keep its demand assumptions separate from products you have never sold.
Ask what “mixed order” actually means
A supplier may be able to quote several models in one purchase while still applying a quantity requirement to each SKU. Another restriction may involve finish, construction, packaging or production scheduling. Resolve these at line level.
Ask whether quantities are counted as pieces, pairs or sets, and whether combining lines changes the order conditions. Request any sample or trial-order options that apply to the selected items. The piece, pair and kit guide prevents misleading comparisons between superficially similar quotations.
A quote showing ten “units” is not clear enough if two mirror-cap pieces and one front-lip set are being counted differently.
Reduce variety where it adds no learning
You may not need several finishes of an untested design in the first order. Nor do you need multiple look-alike versions that your sales team cannot distinguish in customer photos.
An illustrative trial structure is one main vehicle group, a complementary part category and a separate test line. This is a planning approach, not a statement about CCF's minimum order or a recommended quantity. The supplier quotation must establish what is available on that basis.
Use the BMW Black Friday order guide if M2, M3 and M4 customers form your main audience. Other vehicle groups still need the same application and version checks.
Price the shipment, not just the assortment
Different part shapes can change packing and freight. Ask for the proposed carton plan and delivery scope before concluding that adding one more line improves the deal.
If some products are ready sooner than others, compare one combined shipment with a split option where available. Each option should show the extra charges and which customer jobs move forward. The split-shipping guide covers that decision without assuming that a second shipment is automatically worthwhile.
Decide how the trial will be judged
Record the received version, actual landed cost, listing date, qualified inquiries, completed sales and any fitment or support issues. Select a review date that reflects your sales cycle. Reorder the exact successful specification rather than treating all visually similar items as equivalent.
Before listing, collect the information in the dealer listing checklist. A test does not fairly measure demand if the listing lacks the photos and application details a buyer needs.
Give each trial line a learning objective
Use this record as a buyer working tool. Examples and sample labels below are illustrative, not CCF inspection, order or test records.
| Record | Example or required entry |
|---|---|
| Known demand | Link the line to a confirmed customer requirement. |
| Repeat stock | Use an identifiable previous reference and actual replenishment need. |
| New trial | Name the question: demand, presentation or support burden; define when it will be reviewed. |
A trial succeeds when it produces useful evidence, not merely when a carton arrives. Keep unconfirmed inquiries separate from paid orders when deciding whether to reorder.
Distributor questions
Can I combine different car brands in one promotional order?
Request a line-by-line quote. Whether brands, models and parts can be combined under the same promotional conditions must be confirmed for that order.
Does a trial quantity guarantee the same price on a reorder?
No. Record the quote validity and ask what pricing basis would apply to a later order. A later purchase may have different quantities, freight or commercial terms.
