The date on a promotion is not the date a part reaches your workshop. A Black Friday purchase can be a good buying decision and still be too late for a particular customer installation.
Plan a carbon fiber order backward from the required customer handover. Separate specification approval, production or supply readiness, dispatch, transit, receiving inspection and installation. Ask CCF for the current schedule for your actual items before promising a date.
For 2026, Black Friday falls on November 27. That date is a campaign reference, not a CCF dispatch guarantee or order cutoff. Calendar reference

Choose which campaign you are running
There are two different commercial plans, and your customer-facing language should make the distinction clear.
Stock available for your Black Friday event: the goods must reach you early enough to inspect, prepare the listing or display and resolve any issue before the event.
Orders taken during Black Friday for later delivery: the offer must explain the supply status, expected schedule and applicable order terms. Do not present a future delivery as stock already held in your workshop.
The second route is not automatically a poor offer. It becomes a problem when the customer buys under the first assumption.
Put the milestones in writing
| Milestone | What to confirm | Common misunderstanding |
|---|---|---|
| Specification approval | Correct part, version, finish and contents | A photo selection completes every fitment check |
| Supply readiness | Current status of each requested line | Catalog listing means finished stock |
| Dispatch | Planned handover to the agreed carrier | Dispatch date means arrival date |
| Transit and clearance | Quoted route and responsibilities | A transit estimate covers every possible delay |
| Receiving inspection | Time for checking goods and records | Arrival means immediately ready to install |
| Customer handover | Installation capacity and completed checks | A parts ETA reserves workshop labor |
Ask which dates are estimates, which are confirmed commitments and what remains conditional. Save the schedule with the quotation revision it belongs to.
Work backward without inventing a universal lead time
Use your required handover as the end point. Subtract your workshop's installation and inspection time, the quoted transport allowance, and the confirmed supply and approval stages. Any contingency should reflect the actual route and your business experience, not a generic internet number.
If the resulting start date has passed, change the plan. Consider an available alternative only after approval, a later customer appointment, or a revised campaign that clearly offers later delivery. Do not silently replace the requested version to preserve a date.
The alternative-product approval guide gives a structured way to discuss substitutions. Use the order-change guide when an approved line is revised.
Separate urgent jobs from replenishment
One urgent customer part can hold a much broader conversation hostage if every line is treated as equally time-sensitive. Mark urgent jobs explicitly in your request. Ask for a quote showing the options available for those lines and for the remaining stock order.
Where split shipping is offered, compare the extra cost against the value of moving the specific jobs forward. Read the mixed-order shipping guide before choosing. A faster service cannot recover time spent waiting for a part that is not ready to dispatch.
Leave room to inspect the delivery
On arrival, match cartons and contents to your order records. Keep packaging and record issues before modifying or fitting a questioned part. The packing-list checklist and damage-claim photo guide help your team collect useful evidence.
Your schedule should allow this receiving process. A customer booked for the same hour a shipment is expected leaves little room to resolve an incorrect or damaged item.
A customer-date review sheet
Use this record as a buyer working tool. Examples and sample labels below are illustrative, not CCF inspection, order or test records.
| Record | Example or required entry |
|---|---|
| Required handover | Actual customer date and whether it is fixed or preferred. |
| Upstream dependencies | Specification approval, supply readiness, dispatch and transport assumptions. |
| Local work | Receiving inspection, discrepancy handling and installation capacity. |
If a dependency is unknown, show it openly in the schedule. A campaign calendar is not a shipping guarantee; the main offer and the delivery plan require separate confirmation.
Delivery questions
Does a promotional quote include priority production or shipping?
Only if that service and its terms are explicitly included. A lower price does not establish queue priority or a faster transport method.
Can a freight estimate be used as a guaranteed customer arrival date?
No. Clarify the carrier scope, delivery assumptions and current order status before stating a customer commitment.
Should I wait until Black Friday to request the quote?
If timing matters, request the review early. You can discuss the applicable promotional terms while resolving the specification and delivery questions that take time.
