A discounted carbon fiber part can attract a customer. The installation scope determines whether the job remains worthwhile for your shop.
Build a Black Friday carbon fiber package by identifying the exact parts, confirming fitment, costing the installation and stating what the customer receives. Request CCF's inquiry-only promotional parts quote before setting your retail package price.
The strongest offer is one your team can explain and deliver. Give customers a clear result to buy, and give technicians a defined job to complete.

Package the outcome without hiding the components
Start with a named vehicle application and a specific product style. A “front-end styling package” is too vague if the customer cannot tell whether it includes a lip, grille, installation or additional paint and trim work.
Consider three offer structures. These are planning examples, not CCF products or guaranteed bundles.
| Shop offer | Define before advertising | Keep separate if unresolved |
|---|---|---|
| Selected front lip, supplied and installed | Exact version, piece count and normal installation scope | Bumper repair or nonstandard modification |
| Coordinated exterior parts with installation | Each component and its confirmed application | Unconfirmed visual match or extra hardware |
| Display-led consultation and product order | What the customer approves and what payment covers | Delivery date until supply is confirmed |
Show the individual parts even when you publish one package price. It makes changes easier to quote and prevents a customer from assuming everything visible in a vehicle photo is included.
Calculate the job before applying a discount
Build an internal cost sheet covering delivered parts, installation labor, consumables, transaction costs and a reasonable allowance for job-specific uncertainty. Use the same tax basis throughout your calculation; confirm local accounting treatment with your adviser where needed.
Illustrative planning example, not a CCF quote: delivered parts cost $500, costed labor $120 and consumables $30, making a $650 direct-cost basis. At an $850 selling price, the contribution before other overhead and taxes is $200, or about 23.5% of revenue. Reducing the selling price to $750 leaves $100, or about 13.3%.
That is why “only another $100 off” deserves a calculation. The example is not a recommended margin target. Your own costs, overhead and tax treatment determine what is viable.
Make scope visible to the customer
State whether the price includes supply only or supply and installation. Identify any reused fixings, separate accessories, existing bumper damage or nonstandard modifications that require further assessment.
For lowered vehicles, use the front-lip clearance checks before selling a package based only on appearance. For an exterior combination, use the weave and finish matching guide. A customer may notice a finish mismatch more readily than a small saving.
If the selected item is an overlay rather than a replacement, the installation and customer explanation can change. The overlay versus replacement quotation guide helps keep those versions separate.
Use a real reason to act now
You can invite customers to request a vehicle-specific quote or submit photos now. You should not publish invented “last two sets” claims, a countdown disconnected from the actual offer, or installation availability your calendar cannot support.
Once your parts quote and workshop schedule are confirmed, state the real offer validity and booking conditions. If stock is not in your possession, make the supply status clear. An honest pre-order offer can still be commercially strong when the buyer knows the next step and the terms.
Release a workshop offer only when the job is defined
Use this record as a buyer working tool. Examples and sample labels below are illustrative, not CCF inspection, order or test records.
| Record | Example or required entry |
|---|---|
| Parts | Identify every component and its application status. |
| Workshop work | Record installation, consumables and any agreed removal work separately. |
| Customer offer | State inclusions, exclusions, price validity and scheduling conditions. |
Keep this page focused on workshop package economics. Use the main campaign page for promotional eligibility rather than repeating a second unconfirmed discount offer.
Questions tuning shops ask
Is a parts discount enough to set my package price?
No. Calculate the whole job. A saving on the component does not remove the cost of installation, freight, consumables or customer support.
Should I offer one package for every BMW M model?
Use a consistent presentation, but quote the actual chassis and part version. The BMW Black Friday shortlist guide explains how to separate those orders.
Can I promise a fitting date before the parts arrive?
Treat any date as conditional until the supply plan and your inspection process support it. Use the delivery planning guide to work back from the customer handover.
